What you can doBefore you startConnectClaudeClaude CodeChatGPTOther MCP clientsSwitch tenantStay in controlWhat the connector doesn't doPrivacyDisconnectHelpThe Aderis connector lets an AI assistant work with your Aderis data. Ask about your finances in plain language and let the assistant do routine accounting work for you, such as finding invoices, checking bank transactions or creating journal entries.
The connector uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard AI assistants use to connect to other software. Its address is:
https://api.aderis.com/mcpSome things to ask:
Works in Claude on the web, in Claude Desktop and in the Claude mobile apps.
On Team and Enterprise plans, an organization owner may need to add Aderis for the organization before members can connect.
If your organization adds connectors by URL instead:
Aderis and the URL https://api.aderis.com/mcp.aderis-mcp-login. Leave the client secret empty.claude mcp add --transport http aderis https://api.aderis.com/mcp --client-id aderis-mcp-loginThen run /mcp in Claude Code, select aderis and sign in in the browser window that opens. Add --scope user to the command to use Aderis in every project, not just the current one.
Whether you can add custom connectors depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings.
https://api.aderis.com/mcp.aderis-mcp-login and leave the client secret empty. If ChatGPT offers OpenID Connect (OIDC), leave it off.Clients that support OAuth can use the client ID aderis-mcp-login with no client secret, as long as they receive the sign-in on your own computer (a localhost address).
Clients without OAuth, and scripts or automations, can use an API key instead:
Authorization: Bearer <your API key>. In Claude Code, for example:claude mcp add --transport http aderis https://api.aderis.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <your API key>"Treat an API key like a password. You can revoke it in Settings → API Keys at any time.
A connection stays in the tenant you picked when you signed in. Switching tenant in the Aderis web app doesn't change it. To work in another tenant, disconnect Aderis in your assistant, connect again and pick the other tenant.
Aderis receives only the requests your assistant sends to the connector, never your conversations. The data the assistant reads from Aderis goes to your AI provider, such as Anthropic or OpenAI, which handles it under its own terms and your settings there. How Aderis handles your data is described in the Aderis privacy policy.
