Positive Phase III Trial Results for Rotigotine Patch, Neupro™, in Advanced Parkinson's Disease
Aderis Pharmaceuticals partner, Schwarz Pharma, announces that Phase III trial with Neupro™ rotigotine transdermal patch in Advanced Parkinson’s disease reports statistically significant and clinically relevant reduction in 'off' time and that 99% of patients continue in the open-label extension trial.
Hopkinton, MA - Oct 12, 2004 - Aderis Pharmaceuticals partner, Schwarz Pharma, announced that the response of 351 US patients with advanced stage of Parkinson's disease treated with NeuproTM rotigotine transdermal system as adjunctive therapy showed statistically significant and clinically relevant reduction in 'off' time (decrease of at least 30% from baseline) without an increase in undesirable dyskinesias.
